In
August 2004, Texas Choral Consort presented its Summer Choral Symposium event, Viva l'
Opera II. Following up on the tremendous success of last summer's Viva
l' Opera!, the 85-voice Symposium chorus offered another mesmerizing and
exciting journey into great opera excerpts from works by Puccini, Bizet,
Strauss, Donizetti, Rossini, Mascagni, Ponchielli, Gilbert & Sullivan, and
Bernstein.
